Todd Smart rejoined Ziegler in 2011 as a vice president in healthcare investment banking. Previously, he spent five years at Ziegler as part of the structured products team.
Todd possesses over 10 years of experience in finance and structuring and has extensive experience in balance sheet risk management, derivatives, and cash flow analysis. He has played an instrumental role in the structuring of over 400 balance sheet risk management transactions including, interest rate swaps, total return swaps, basis swaps, swaptions, and interest rate caps and options.
Prior to rejoining Ziegler, Todd worked in investment banking and structured products at Legg Mason and Oppenheimer. He began his career in the treasury group at Nine West Group.
Todd received his B.S. in accounting from Millikin University and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
