Paula Permenter joined the religion and education team at Ziegler in 2011 as a senior vice president. She has over 20 years of institutional buy-side experience. Paula specializes in underwriting bond financings for educational institutions, with special focus on charter schools.
Prior to joining Ziegler, Paula was a senior analyst on the tax-exempt high yield research team at Invesco. She also has experience working with the government and mortgage-backed portfolios as a portfolio manager at AIM Capital Management, Inc., and an associate trader at Van Kampen American Capital Management, Inc.
Paula received her B.B.A. in finance from the University of Houston and her M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas. She is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Southern Municipal Finance Society.
