We completed the first tax-exempt public offering of a renewable energy project in the fall of 2006 for an alternative energy developer They’ve to construct several anaerobic digestion plants that break down cow manure – first into biogas, then cleaned into pipeline-grade natural gas – enough to heat 50,000 homes. The company has since executed off take agreements with two large natural gas utilities in Texas and California.
That’s our first client in the renewable energy space. Now, we’re targeting our expansion into each of the following subsectors:
Biomass. Also known as bioenergy, it is stored energy from the sun contained in materials such as plant matter and animal waste.
Wind. Considered the fastest-growing energy source in the world.
Solar. Here comes the sun. And Ziegler.
