5/20/20 - Ziegler hosted a webinar for not-for-profit senior living investors. Presenters gave a status update on not-for-profit senior living providers. We started by providing a status update on the sector, touching on recent research, legal immunity and how the sector has fared in the mainstream media. 5/18/20 - Ziegler's Mid-Atlantic investment banking team will be holding a third webinar at 3:00 pm ET to discuss the latest status on several issues we believe have, or could, impact senior living providers. The targeted call provided a summary of stimulus programs potentially available to not-for-profit senior living providers, offered an update on the Paycheck Protection Program and discussed continuing disclosure best practices related to COVID-19 and stimulus provisions. 5/6/20 - Ziegler hosted a webinar for not-for-profit senior living investors. Presenters provided a status update on not-for-profit senior living providers in the midst of COVID-19. Ziegler Credit & Surveillance also shared observations from borrower disclosure practices and COVID-19 communications. Data and information, supported by real-time feedback from not-for-profit borrowers, highlighted the differentiating factors of the not-for-profit senior living sector. 4/23/20 - Ziegler hosted a webinar for K12 and charter school borrowers to learn from an expert panel about the very latest updates to the Paycheck Protection Program. The webinar provided a recap of the round one funding of the PPP ($349 billion), a preview of things to consider if applying for round two ($310 billion approved by Congress on 4/23/2020), and a look at best practices of how to comply with spending requirements to obtain loan forgiveness.
