Managing Director
Brandon Powell joined the senior living team at Ziegler in May 2014. As a managing director in the senior living finance practice, he brings 25+ years of investment banking experience working with senior living providers in the Southeast and Gulf Coast states. Throughout his career, he has completed more than $3 billion in senior living transactions for both single site providers and large multi-site systems using a variety of structures. Additionally, Mr. Powell has advised his clients on their growth strategies through divestitures, acquisitions and new projects that has resulted in clients successfully meeting their objectives.
Prior to joining Ziegler, Brandon was a managing director at BB&T Capital Markets where he successfully managed a wide range of complex economic, legal and credit transactions. Brandon also spent seven years in similar roles at Wells Fargo Securities and UBS.
Brandon graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in economics and minor in government. He has also been a featured speaker at a variety of senior living conferences such as LeadingAge and various state affiliates including LeadingAge Texas and LeadingAge Florida.
