Gordon Knutson, First Vice President and Financial Advisor in our Waukesha, Wisconsin office, joined Ziegler Wealth Management in 1972. He began working in dealer sales, selling Ziegler bonds to other dealer firms as well as working the trading desk. Gordon leveraged his experience, moving into a role serving individual investors through the coordination of local bond sale efforts, as well as training financial advisors on consistent sales processes and techniques. Gordon is a 24-year member of the Financial Planning Association, a former president of the Milwaukee Bond Club as well as a previous member of the Board of the WASD (Wisconsin Association of Securities Dealers).
Gordon earned a bachelor of science degree in business and economics from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville. He takes an active role in his community as a member of the Richfield Lions Club for 29 years, a scout leader for nine years and a member of his Church Council for four years. Gordon also serves on the Richfield Days Parade Committee, the campaign committee for the Richfield Historical Society and the Greater Richfield Business Network, while having coached soccer and baseball. He lives in Hubertus, Wisconsin, with his wife Margie.
Michael Knutson, Financial Advisor in our Waukesha, Wisconsin office, joined Ziegler Wealth Management in 2014. Bringing a solid business background in employment consulting, corporate sales and national business development, Michael focuses on taking the time to get to know each client’s needs and present solutions tailored to help achieve their goals. An avid user of social media, Michael posts a variety of stories and articles on personal finance and investment planning for the future.
Michael earned two bachelor of arts degrees in economics and international studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an Eagle Scout and an active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. As a resident of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Michael enjoys watching victories of Wisconsin sports teams and spending time with family.
