Daren Bell is a Director in Ziegler’s senior living investment banking group, based out of Seattle, WA. His 15-year investment banking career has been dedicated to the not-for-profit sector. Since joining Ziegler in 2014, Daren’s primary focus has been on serving not-for-profit senior living organizations throughout the western U.S.
Daren brings extensive senior living experience, working on complex financings across a full spectrum of projects, including new campus financings, expansion and repositioning financing, and restructurings. Additionally, Daren is well versed in all avenues of capital sources, including fixed- and variable-rate bond financings, tax-exempt and taxable debt, limited and private placements, as well as a plethora of bank capital structures. Daren is an expert in capital planning, strategic planning, finance structuring and restructuring, credit analysis, covenant structuring, and a variety of other relevant services.
Throughout his tenure at Ziegler, Daren has helped bring more than 85 senior living financings to market, totaling nearly $5.0 billion in par amount.
Daren received a B.A. in business administration with a concentration in finance from Western Washington University. He holds Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses.
