MAUREEN EGAN

Maureen Egan joined the sales and trading team at Ziegler in 2001 and is currently a trading specialist overseeing Ziegler Capital Markets’ variable rate demand bond portfolio comprised of multi-modal variable rate reset securities with a demand feature. In this role, she manages the daily re-pricing, remarketing and regulatory processes associated with the variable rate demand products and has assisted in the management and placement of over $7 billion in variable rate demand bond origination. Additionally, Maureen maintains the desk’s daily regulatory and compliance mandates for the various proprietary products managed and originated by Ziegler.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Maureen spent four years with the mutual fund manager Van Kampen in the Unit Investment Trust operations division. She played key roles in supporting finance professionals and customers through numerous transactions within the fund manager’s platform.

Maureen earned a bachelor of science degree in management from Eastern Illinois University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University. She is also a FINRA registered representative.
