OUR TEAM

Neil Borg joined Ziegler in 2006. As a senior managing director, he is responsible for the management of the firm’s M&A advisory practice focusing on healthcare services and information technology. Neil also focuses on Ziegler’s for-profit strategic advisory and principal investing efforts and is a managing partner of the Ziegler Linkage Longevity Fund. 

Prior to joining Ziegler, Neil was in the Healthcare Services Investment Banking divisions of J.P. Morgan (previously Chase H&Q and Hambrecht & Quist) and Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co. While at Hambrecht & Quist, Neil was a partner in an affiliated venture capital fund, H&Q Serv*s Ventures, focused on early stage healthcare investments on behalf of Hambrecht & Quist and Johnson & Johnson.

Over his career, Neil has completed over 70 transactions including strategic advisory assignments, public and private equity financings and equity investments principally for emerging growth, middle market companies in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors. In addition, Neil was most recently on the Board of Directors of Auditz, LLC prior to its sale to Transunion, LLC in 2016; on the Board of Directors of Ingenios, LLC prior to its sale to Almost Family in 2015; and on the Board of Directors of Certify Data Systems, Inc. prior to its sale to Humana Inc. in 2012.

Neil earned an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in economics and minor in philosophy (cum laude) from Denison University.

Grant Chamberlain joined Ziegler in 2015 as a managing director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Practice. With over 25 years of investment banking experience, Grant has dedicated the majority of his career to advising HCIT and tech-enabled outsourced services companies with particular focus on transactions with telehealth companies such as Vimly, CXC, TM2U, Somnoware, Avera eCare, Philips Lifeline / ConnectAmerica, Tridiuum, Anelto, SmartMeter, CancerIQ, Validic, Doctible, CentralLogic, SCI, Regroup, Forefront, Basys, Airstrip, Forefront, IRIS, MDLIVE and Voalte.

Prior to Ziegler, Grant led the mHealth sector coverage at Raymond James – which included telehealth, remote monitoring and wireless healthcare solutions – after spending 25 years advising HCIT and tech-enabled outsourced services companies on a broad variety of M&A, joint ventures/partnerships and private financings. Additionally, Grant has completed dozens of transactions in the physician practice management space with a specific concentration in oncology, having closed over 15 deals in that sector in his career.

Prior to Raymond James, Grant was a principal at Shattuck Hammond Partners, which was acquired by Morgan Keegan. He was also a part of the corporate finance group of General Electric Capital Corporation and the financial services division of GE Medical Systems.

In addition, Grant is an elected Director of the ATA, the leading international advocate for the use of advanced remote medical technologies. He is also on the Board of Directors for The MAVEN Project, which uses telehealth and a network of volunteer physicians affiliated with the nation’s foremost medical school alumni associations to improve healthcare access for underserved populations.

Grant earned a B.A. in finance and investment banking from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Andrew Colbert joined Ziegler in 2006 as a founding member of Ziegler’s Healthcare Investment Banking practice. He specializes in advising healthcare services and healthcare information technology companies on a spectrum of strategic and financing alternatives including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising transactions and partnership development. Andrew is also involved in Ziegler’s principal investing efforts and serves on the Strategic Leadership Committee at Ziegler.

Andrew takes pride in developing long-term relationships with his clients and brings creative structuring insights and deep domain expertise to achieve premium outcomes. He has been engaged in over 65 transactions totaling over $5.7 billion in value; including sell-side and buy-side representation, strategic partnerships, public equity financings, private placements, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and fairness opinions.  

Andrew has completed numerous M&A and capital raising transactions for healthcare companies across a wide spectrum of healthcare subsectors including healthcare information technology, physician groups/MSOs (radiology, emergency medicine, anesthesia, hospitalist, etc.), telemedicine, wellness, managed care, provider and payor outsourcing, and revenue cycle management.  Prior to joining Ziegler, Andrew was an investment banker in the healthcare group at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co.

He is the author of 25 publications in the following press and media outlets: AuntMinnie.com, Axis Imaging News, Becker’s Hospital CFO Report, Healthcare Business News, Imaging Technology News, Radiology Today Magazine, Advance Healthcare Network. Andrew is the recipient of the Emerging Leaders Award by the M&A Advisor. He is a frequent speaker at many conferences and industry events, including ACG, HIMSS, HFMA ANI, Health2.0 and RBMA, among others. He graduated magna cum laude from Colgate University with a B.A. in international relations and a minor in economics. He holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. Andrew also serves as a mentor to the Blueprint Health startup accelerator in New York City.

Chris Hendrickson joined the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Ziegler in 2012. He has over 25 years of healthcare services experience focusing on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for home health, hospice, managed care, healthcare information technology, and chronic condition management entities. Chris has participated in the execution of over 65 healthcare transactions, totaling over $30 billion.

Previously, Chris spent the last four years as a senior leader in Lazard Middle Market’s healthcare services team. Prior to joining Lazard, he spent seven years as a vice president at UnitedHealth Group in numerous roles including mergers and acquisitions, strategic development, national hospital and physician network development, and president of Ovations’ home health, hospice  and chronic condition management business unit. Prior to UnitedHealth Group, Chris was a vice president at RBC Capital Markets and a senior member in their healthcare and technology investment banking groups. In addition, he was a manager at Grant Thornton LLP and a senior associate at Coopers & Lybrand LLP.

Chris graduated from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business where he received his M.B.A. with concentrations in strategy and finance. He received a B.A. in accounting from the University of St. Thomas. Chris is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Brian McGough joined Ziegler in 2017. As a managing director in Ziegler’s Healthcare Investment Banking practice, Brian is responsible for providing the structuring and delivery of investment banking products and services to not-for-profit healthcare clients. Over the course of his career, Brian has been responsible for a variety of financings and advisory transactions in excess of $30 billion including virtually every type of cash market and derivative structure. He has also provided advisory services ranging from long-term capital markets planning to debt capacity, mergers and acquisitions, and asset-liability management strategies.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Brian led transactions for Aurora Health System (WI), Fairbanks Memorial Hospital (AK), Intermountain Health (UT), Mercy Health (CHP) (OH), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (OH), All Children’s Medical Center (FL), Sarasota Memorial Hospital (FL), Northwestern Memorial Hospital (IL), Scripps Health (CA),  University of Maryland Medical System (MD), and the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, among others.

Prior to joining U.S. Bancorp, Brian led the healthcare investment banking practice at US Bank and BMO Capital Markets and was previously a senior banker at JP Morgan. He also practiced law with a national law firm in the areas of healthcare financing and mergers and acquisitions. Brian remains admitted to practice law in a variety of jurisdictions.

A graduate of Bradley University, Brian received his juris-doctorate degree from Northern Illinois University.

Chris Rogers joined Ziegler in 2014 as a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Practice. He has over 23 years of healthcare investment banking experience and has executed over 60 transactions including strategic advisory assignments, public/private equity financings and fairness opinions for companies in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors. 

Chris enjoys the opportunity to work with clients that innovate traditional healthcare models and he provides advisory services to healthcare companies across multiple sectors that provide unique service models or technology solutions to improve access and outcomes through better engagement with providers, patients and payors. Specifically, Chris has worked with companies in the following sectors: outsourced clinical services, behavioral/mental health, telehealth/virtual engagement, alternate site care, disease management and wellness solutions. Select clients include HCA, Tivity (Healthways), Acadia Healthcare (Psychiatric Solutions), Trilliant Health, Nashville Anesthesia Partners, TeamHealth, SpecialtyCare, StatDoctors, Valify and Regroup.

Prior to joining Ziegler, he helped expand the healthcare focused private equity senior lending platform at Regions Financial. Prior to Regions, Chris worked in the healthcare investment banking divisions of Morgan Keegan and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey in Nashville, Merrill Lynch in New York and Cowen & Company in San Francisco, Munich and London and was a Partner and co-Founder of Viscardi AG, a venture capital firm and merchant bank headquartered in Munich, Germany. Prior to healthcare investment banking, he started his career at Coopers & Lybrand in Boston and San Francisco.

Chris earned an M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University with a finance concentration. He earned a B.A. in political science and economics from Connecticut College.

Bill Claus joined Ziegler in 2018. As a managing director, he provides strategic, quantitative, and analytical advice relating to the capital needs of clients throughout the healthcare services industry. Bill has more than a decade of investment banking experience in structuring debt and derivative solutions in excess of $10 billion for healthcare systems. In addition, Bill is the founder and current board member of Link Capital, a medical focused student loan lending company raising over $200 million of capital.

Bill has advised many healthcare clients with respect to affiliations, joint ventures, asset sales and full mergers. Most recently, he has been working closely with newly formed health system corporate venture capital teams providing insights and access to Ziegler led capital raises for emerging growth healthcare companies. 

Prior to joining Ziegler, Bill worked at Morgan Stanley and Barclays. He received a triple major from Hope College and his M.B.A from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management specializing in analytical finance and entrepreneurship.

Christopher Swenson joined the healthcare investment banking team at Ziegler in 2020. He specializes in negotiated financing solutions for private companies through private placement of equity and equity-linked securities in the life sciences, healthcare services, and digital health and tech-enabled services sectors. Chris has completed more than 75 financing transactions with an aggregate value of $3.5 billion. Chris also has significant experience advising growth companies on a variety of corporate finance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic and business planning, restructuring and licensing transactions.

Prior to Ziegler, Chris served as the head of healthcare private equity placements at Piper Jaffray where he led Piper’s efforts to provide privately held growth companies with financing solutions through the private placement of equity securities. He previously was a director with MTS Health Partners, where he focused on private negotiated financings for public and private life science companies. Earlier in his career, Chris held positions with Banc of America Securities, MicroCapital and Robertson Stephens. Chris began his professional career as a corporate and transactional attorney.

Chris holds a MBA in finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law and a BA in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. He hold Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and is a member of the state bar in California, Illinois and New York.

Mark Turco joined the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Ziegler in 2014. He has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience and works primarily with healthcare technology and tech-enabled services companies. Mark advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring transactions, as well as partnership development.   

Mark has completed numerous M&A and capital raising transactions for healthcare companies across a wide spectrum of healthcare subsectors, including: revenue cycle management, digital health, data analytics, federal health IT, post-acute technology, payments and business process outsourcing. Select clients include HBCS Revenue Cycle, Loyale, Medical Advantage, Stanson Health, Essex Management, Audacious Inquiry, Envera Health and HealthPay24.

Prior to joining Ziegler, he was a Director in the investment banking division at Alvarez & Marsal Securities focused on financial restructuring and distressed M&A.

Mark earned a B.A. in history from Yale University. He holds Series 7, 52, 63 and 79 securities licenses.

Patrick Walsh joined the healthcare investment banking team at Ziegler in 2015. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to Ziegler, Patrick spent six years at American Pathology Partners, a high-growth, venture-backed healthcare services company. As vice president of financial planning and analysis, as well as a member of the senior management team, he developed and managed much of the company’s analytical and reporting infrastructure related to revenue recognition and revenue cycle, as well as financial, operational and sales reporting. In addition, Patrick was responsible for acquisition due diligence, equity and debt raising, enterprise-wide budgeting and regular board updates.

Prior to American Pathology Partners, he served as an associate on the healthcare investment banking teams at Shattuck Hammond Partners and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Patrick earned an M.B.A with honors from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University with finance and accounting concentrations, and a healthcare specialization. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in economics.

Ken Benton joined Ziegler’s healthcare investment banking team in 2017. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for Ziegler’s middle-market healthcare client base. Ken focuses on providers at all stages of the continuum of care as well as information technology and managed care entities.

Prior to Ziegler, Ken was a vice president at Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC (H2C), an independent, healthcare-focused strategic advisory and investment banking firm. Prior to H2C, Ken worked in the healthcare groups of boutique firms Scott-Macon Ltd. and Navigant Capital Advisors. In these roles, Ken advised on M&A, equity and debt capital raises and restructurings to middle-market healthcare clients with a particular focus on serving healthcare providers and payors, both for-profit and not-for-profit.  

Ken earned a joint J.D./M.B.A. degree in finance from Emory University. He earned a B.A. degree from Williams College, where he majored in political economy. Ken holds Series 7, 63 and 79 securities licenses.

Drew Braucht joined Ziegler in 2019. He advises healthcare services and healthcare information technology companies on strategic and financial alternatives including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, joint ventures, and strategic partnership development.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Drew was a Vice President at Evercore where he focused on M&A and corporate advisory across a range of public and private transactions. Earlier in his career, Drew worked in healthcare strategy roles at TPG Biotech, IQVIA, The Lewin Group, and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Drew holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.

Chris Cason joined the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Ziegler in 2019. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to his tenure at Ziegler, Chris worked at LFM Capital, a middle-market private equity fund where his responsibilities included evaluating new investment opportunities and working with existing portfolio companies.

Chris began his career in investment banking, working as an associate and analyst for Houlihan Lokey, Dowling Hales, and Hussar & Co. in New York, NY. In these roles, Chris advised on sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt capital raises for middle-market companies.

Chris holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and a B.A. from Bates College.

Jack Kersten joined the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Ziegler in 2017. He works with healthcare services and healthcare information technology companies, advising on various strategic and financial alternatives.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Jack was an investment banking analyst at Brocair Partners, a New York-based boutique investment bank, where he advised companies within various healthcare sectors including behavioral health, medical technology, and provider business processes outsourcing.

Jack graduated from Bentley University where he received his bachelor of science in economics and finance.

JP Sloan joined the healthcare investment banking team at Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in M&A, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, JP was with Founders Advisors, where he focused on sell-side M&A and recapitalizations for companies in the software and tech-enabled services sectors. Prior to Founders, JP worked in the corporate development team at Regions Financial, where he focused on corporate M&A and minority investments in FinTech and financial services.

JP graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi, where he received a B.B.A. in Managerial Finance and Banking & Finance.

Nick Warfield joined the Healthcare Investment Banking team at Ziegler in 2015. He works with healthcare IT & tech-enabled services companies, advising on various strategic and financial alternatives.

Nick has nearly a decade of experience specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, corporate divestitures and strategic partnership development for middle-market healthcare clients across various subsectors including patient engagement solutions, revenue cycle management, decision support / data analytics, telehealth, provider outsourcing, post-acute technologies, federal health & consulting.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Nick worked at Allen & Company and CTS Capital Advisors where he focused on M&A and valuation advisory services for companies in the healthcare and technology sectors.

Nick earned a B.S. in finance and international business from the University of Maryland. He holds Series 7 and 79 securities licenses.

Patrick Hayes joined Ziegler in 2020. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Patrick was an analyst at Tyton Partners, where he executed M&A and equity transactions for high growth companies within the global knowledge and technology sectors. Patrick began his career in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he advised public and sponsor-backed companies on operational cash flow improvement initiatives across healthcare, medical devices, and life sciences.

Patrick earned his B.S. in finance from the Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Jack McCall joined Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Jack worked in RSM’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, where he advised private equity and corporate clients on financial aspects of contemplated transactions within the healthcare, technology, and business services sectors. Jack began his career in RSM’s Risk Advisory Services practice, where he advised public and start-up companies on SOX 404 compliance and control process improvement initiatives across the life sciences and technology sectors.

Jack earned his B.S. in accounting and finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Jack is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Alec Campisano joined Ziegler in 2025. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.
 
Prior to joining Ziegler, Alec worked for Farragut Capital Partners, a lower middle market private investment firm, where he helped execute on private equity and debt transactions across a wide variety of industries. Before Farragut, Alec spent time at First Financial Bank in Cincinnati as an analyst on their leveraged finance team. Prior to that, Alec began his career in Real Estate Development at Zyyo in New York.
 
Alec holds a BS in Finance and Economics from the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama.

David Xie joined Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, David worked for Duff & Phelps in their Alternative Asset Advisory group, where he helped provide valuation services for a variety of asset classes, including private equity, private debt, and structured credit. Before Duff & Phelps, David began his career as an Analyst at Carta, a San Francisco-based FinTech company, in their Valuations group.

David holds a BSBA in finance and MSF from the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.

Caleb Druckemiller joined Ziegler in 2023. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors, as well as those with innovative provider models.
 
Caleb graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Mathematics.

Nathan Eluemunor joined Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Nathan worked in Piper Sandler’s healthcare information technology group, where he focused on M&A and capital advisory for high-growth companies across the healthcare technology sector. Prior to Piper Sandler, Nathan began his career as an investment associate at UBS, where he conducted investment research and advised across a range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income and other investment vehicles.
 
Nathan graduated from Rowan University with a B.S. in Finance.

Joe joined Ziegler in 2021 after interning with the firm the prior summer. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients within the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Joe graduated from the University of Dayton and earned a B.S. in Finance with an Investment Management Concentration. While at Dayton, he was a member of the Davis Center for Portfolio Management, the largest undergraduate endowment fund in the nation with $60M in AUM as of May 2021.

Mitch joined Ziegler in 2023 after interning with the firm the prior summer. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients within the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Mitch graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Eric Lex joined Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in negotiated financing solutions for private companies through private placement of equity and equity-linked securities in the healthcare services, digital health and tech-enabled services sectors.

Prior to joining Ziegler, Eric worked in First Republic Bank’s private equity services, where he underwrote multiple different credit products and maintained the quality of existing credit facilities. Before starting his corporate career, Eric played professional baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals organization.

Eric graduated with a B.S. in economics and M.A in leadership & management from Santa Clara University.

Jon Morgan joined Ziegler in 2022. He specializes in providing strategic, quantitative, and analytical advice relating to the capital needs of clients throughout the healthcare services industry. Most recently, he has been working closely with newly formed health system corporate venture capital teams providing insights and access to Ziegler led capital raises for emerging growth healthcare companies. 

Prior to joining Ziegler, Jon held various operations management roles in the physician practice sector with several large health systems including OhioHealth, Inova, and Trinity Health.

Jon received his MHSA from the Milken Institute School of Public Health at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and his B.A. in Communications and English from Hope College in Holland, Michigan

Milena joined Ziegler in 2023. She specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and capital formation engagements for clients within the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Milena graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Connor joined Ziegler in 2024 after interning with the firm the prior two summers. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients within the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.

Connor graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BSBA in Finance.

Lilly joined Ziegler in 2024 and specializes in M&A, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors. Lilly graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in Economics.

Jake Salisbury joined Ziegler in 2023. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory, and capital formation engagements for clients in the healthcare services and healthcare information technology sectors.
